santa made a special visit to the green's and even brought you an early gift! we had a fun night with friends... pizza, cookies and santa. we were excited that grandma and grandpa were in town and could join us.
sweet memories with loved friends :)
the next night proved to be one of two of my hugest mom failures of all times. grandma and grandpa went with us to dry gulch to ride the christmas train. it was beautiful. it was wonderful. it was the greatest memory. we were making our first stop at the pony rides. you were pumped. so were we. i pulled out my fancy camera. THERE WAS NO CARD IN THE CAMERA. batteries were charged. lenses were packed. THERE WAS NO CARD IN THE CAMERA. fear not, i have a back up point and shoot in the diaper bag. THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. it took one picture then died. i had two cameras and neither was functional. fear not, i have an iPHONE. it died, too. i do think grandma and and dad have iPhone pictures floating somewhere... if i find them, i'll add them.
the christmas train was fun. you had a good time. you rode the pony and we all took a horse drawn carriage ride. we ate burgers, cinnamon rolls and drank coffee. the lights were so pretty and carolers walked the streets. we warmed by the big street fires and grandma & pa bought you a baby in the toy shop. we enjoyed the train ride through the christmas story. really, the adults were exhausted. you do a whole lot of running. you are fast. we chased and chased. we chased so much that we decided to cancel a later planned trip to go with the greens. we decided to wait until yall were a bit older and maybe calmer ;) ... but with grandma & pa we had a 4 to 1 ratio and it was a sweet night -- a special memory of an oklahoma christmas. :)

don't really remember where in the month this fit... and i'm too lazy to click on my calendar to see. but here is the one blurry picture of dad and i have from the samson christmas party. it was a fun night with friends. grandma stayed with you -- yall ate pei wei and played all night. i'm pretty sure a good night was had by all.
