uhoh, caroline...i thought i posted these pictures last week! oh, well... who's surprised? i still haven't posted thanksgiving or christmas 2010. big events scare me.
well, here it is... happy 28th birthday, dad!!!
it was actually a pretty crummy day... week... weeks... as we all passed around the crud. but, somehow we managed to eat plenty of birthday cake and have lots of fun... though you and i never made it out of our pajamas ;)
we LOVE birthdays. really, any excuse to celebrate is all i need. we do birthday months at our house. it's great. so, though dad's actual birthDAY wasn't the best...we're still celebrating big time around here. i'm thinking this weekend is going to be a very grand finale! don't fear, dad is milking it for all it's worth :)
we were lazy party planners this year... we went to a bakery and bought a coffee cake and birthday cake (though you decorated it beautifully)...we did make some scrambled eggs for breakfast...but dad picked up his own chinese birthday dinner on the way home.

we are so thankful for your dad! he works hard for us, and loves us so much...i'm pretty sure you made this birthday one of his very favorites!
