yes, it's well known that i have a mental block when it comes to blogging big events. i love holidays. i have big expectations for holidays. i have magazine-like visions of holidays. i have magazine-like memories of holidays. in the holiday-moment i freeze up and take none or very few pictures. (weird i know). and then i never make myself sit down and put them in words. i think i'm afraid i just can't do the sweet memory justice.
well, here goes.
welcome to a series of christmas in february posts. i'm going to throw up all the pictures dated DECEMBER 2012 and attempt to remember where and why we were there ;)
i love you caroline... on holidays and on plain jane days, too.
adam & emily had an office party. we we had a dinner party with catherine. i am pretty crazy about you girls. and yall are just flat out crazy when you're together.
who's idea was it to decorate cookies... with a huge bowl of sprinkles? you were a mad woman slinging sprinkles everywhere... and fast as you were doing that, catherine was eating them.
and these aren't christmasy. but, they're december. and they're precious. you LOVE shoes. you're a fourth generation shoe lover. well actually my great-grandmother (though i never really knew her) was probably a shoe lover, too. she's quite stylish in pictures. ;)
so... here you are. in your shoe baskets.
... and since our subjects are random... some classic caroline faces. uncle bill and sweet old man in the store, these faces are not reserved for only you. they are often shared with others, too. we are working on this, caroline. but, for memory's sake (b/c i KNOW you will soon be broken of this habit, and i will never see the snarl again) here is you and your attitude.
