yesterday was just plain hot, so we flew the coop looking for some indoor fun.  we ran a few errands, picked up some yogurt and spent the afternoon at the aquarium.

you were mesmerized by the fish.  i love seeing you experience new things.  you've seen the fish exhibit in the the zoo.  and every now and then you notice "brother" our catfish that lives in your playroom...but the huge aquarium fish were much more exciting!

you were asleep before we left the parking lot.  that means you had a good day :)

in tulsa it's usually really cold or really hot... few days in between... so i'm thinking you and i may get to know the fish pretty well!

we spent some time calling them yesterday, "here fishy, fishy! (then pucker face...then kiss)".... maybe we'll build some relationships with our swimming friends :)

i do know one thing, whether the fish like us or not... i love going to the aquarium with you!

not that i haven't loved every stage...  but, i am LOVING this 15 month stage... you are so much fun.  your little personality is popping...and you are so interested in everything around you.  i see some of your daddy and some of me... and a whole lot of sarah caroline! 

we've had a lot of hang-around-the-house days lately.  it is absolutely HOT outside...and the air is mosquito filled...

so yesterday, we did a little baking...

 we went on a downtown coffee date with daddy, and picked some pretty flowers...
we love that tulsa has pretty trees, grass and flowers downtown.  not only do we love the architecture of the city, but we can enjoy it from the pretty lawn.

of all the wonderful things we've done this summer, it's funny that this is what i'm posting. but, hey...these images are fresh on my computer and i think it will bring a smile to your face... someday :)

we've had a catch-up-on laundry and house and editing, post-vacation kind of a week... on tuesday you talked about daddy a whole lot, so we decided to take a quick trip to his office to say hi and have a coffee date with him.  it was a fun little treat for all three of us :)...we really should do that more!

then, you and i stopped by the rose gardens to play and smell some flowers.  while we were there, you took care of some business... and i just so happened to have a camera... :)

i suppose this could be another post with a very apologetic tone. but i'll let the dates speak for themselves...the span between the last post and this one is great...as are the gaps previous to that.  ugh.

i want to be good putting these days in writing. :(

i have a computer full of precious pictures of you.  i do hope to post them soon.  we have made precious, precious memories this summer!
