we took a fun spring break trip with the greens. it was a blast! it wasn't your first time to go to colorado... but it was your first time to be in colorado in the winter! you loved it!
you and catherine are seriously the cutest girls i have ever seen. you are the best of friends and are mistaken for twins everywhere we go. i just love seeing your little friendship grow -- i hope you girls are friends forever!
we stayed in breckenridge in a great, 3 story condo... which meant we had constant stair battles....thankfully no tumbles.
our condo was on a slope... and you LOVED to watch the skiers. i'm excited to take you one day :)
we did a good mix of eating out and take out meals -- you girls were troopers! it's funny how our vacations have changed since we added you to our crew ;) ... for the better, of course!
daddy skied 3 days. i skied one whole day with him while you went to school with catherine - you LOVED it. you sobbed to go back the next day. oh dear.
another day, uncle bill & sk drove to the mountains and played in town with you... i skied for a couple of hours with daddy while you guys played. you loved your alone time with them! they bought you a baby and yall named her dee dee... you just love her! they had dinner and spent the night with us -- what a fun treat.
the boys left on st. patricks day and drove with the car seats and all of our luggage. they met us at the airport in denver the next day... that plan worked well... except for the fact that we didn't enjoy our flights at all. we have car rides down to an art... i think we should stick with that! ;)
our flights were AWFUL --- you were wide awake and not very "joyful" -- you are TOO BIG to be a lap baby on a crammed full flight. the flights were truly the worst (and only bad) parts of the trip. we will just forget about them. ok? (just for the record, catherine and emily peacefully slept... showoffs) ;)
we took yall sledding on the coldest day there. bad idea. we had a blast. yall were cold and covered in gear... no fun. oh, well... maybe next year ;)
we did lots of eating, lots of playing, lots of chocolate milk, lots of scrambled eggs, lots of babies, lots of suckers, lots of baths, lots of giggling, lots of sunglass wearing.... and the occasional screaming "MINE!"
it was truly a great trip. the pictures are even more out of order than my jumbled thoughts... but they are here. and for that we are proud.
yes, people pay me to take pictures. yes, i took the big camera bag on the trip. yes, i scolded adam and david... warning them to take the best care of it on the drive.... no, i didn't take one single picture. thank goodness for the iphone.
we had a great trip, sarah caroline. you are so much fun. i am thankful for good friends and the sweetest travel buddy ever... you :)

this was back in tulsa. at braums. but, we just missed the greens so much... 24 hours apart was too much. so we had a park and ice cream date.
